Prayers for Healing of the Sick

A short service, with communion, of prayers for healing of the sick takes place at 10.30 a.m. on the second Saturday of each month.

Saturday, 12 September at 1030 - Service of prayers for the healing of the sick and communion.  Coffee Morning from 1000 - 1200 when the Church will be open (except during the short service) to South Lanarkshire Council Doors Open Day visitors.  Sunday, 13 September - Rev Dr J Cunningham.  South Lanarkshire Council Doors Open Day visitors are welcome to attend our service or to visit in the afternoon when the church will be open until 1700 with light refreshments available.

Rev Dr J Cunningham.  St Conval is credited with founding our first church building prior to his death in 614 A.D.


The Minister

The Rev. Dr. Alexander Thomson has been Minister at Rutherglen Old Parish Church since 1985.  He is an associate member of the Society of Ordained Scientists and the Scottish Church Society.
